Barrels must be shipped back promptly after approval
Returns outside this timeframe will not be accepted

Include:
Order number
Confirmation that the 72-hour water curing stage was completed
Description of the issue
Unauthorized returns will be refused.
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for return shipping
Original shipping costs are non-refundable
Tracked shipping is recommended
Resolution (No Refunds)
If a barrel is verified to have failed after proper curing, Urban Barrel Company will, at its discretion:
Replace the barrel, or
Issue in-store credit
Refunds are not issued under any circumstances.

Urban Barrel Company barrels are handcrafted oak vessels and require a mandatory 72-hour water curing stage before use. Due to the nature of oak barrels, returns are accepted only under the conditions outlined below.
Sole Valid Reason for Return
The only accepted reason for a return is:
The barrel does not hold water after successfully completing the required 72-hour water curing stage.
No other reasons qualify.
Mandatory 72-Hour Water Curing Stage
Before any barrel may be filled with alcohol or other liquids, the customer must complete a 72-hour curing stage using water only.
Curing requirements:
Fill the barrel with clean water only
Water must remain in the barrel for a full 72 consecutive hours
Minor seepage during the first 24–48 hours is normal and expected
No alcohol, spirits, wine, or cocktails may be added during curing
Failure to complete the curing stage voids all return eligibility.
Alcohol Use Voids All Returns
If a barrel has been filled with:
Alcohol
Spirits
Wine
Cocktails
Any non-water liquid
The barrel is permanently ineligible for return, replacement, or credit.
This will be determined after the barrel is returned and inspected.
Inspection & Verification
All approved returns are subject to physical inspection upon receipt.
Urban Barrel Company will inspect for:
Alcohol residue or odor
Staining or discoloration
Evidence of improper curing
Misuse or alteration
If inspection shows misuse or alcohol exposure, the return will be denied, and the barrel will be returned at the customer’s expense.
Final Authority
Urban Barrel Company reserves final authority to determine:
Whether curing was completed correctly
Whether the barrel qualifies for replacement or credit
Whether misuse voided eligibility
All decisions are final.
