Jeff's knowledge and experience with barrel aging and mixology will get you mixing cocktails that your friends will be begging you to make for them all the time.

90-minute Class

Most of our classes are around 90 minutes in length. During each class, participants will be sampling cocktails and spirits that have been barrel-aged to perfection. We will teach you how to create these drinks and some tips for creating your own unique flavours.

Hands-on Instructions

Our classes are interactive and hands-on. Each participant will take part in building delicious cocktails and drinks. The drinks that we will teach you how to make will be sure to impress guests at your next party.

Barrel Swag

Each attendee receives a recipe booklet, prep-and-care instructions and a 1L oak aging barrel to continue the barrel aged cocktail experience at home. Our cocktail class will go over the use and maintenance of your new oak aging barrel so you will be able to get the most out of your barrel aged creations.

Virtual Classes

Looking for a way to connect with friends safely from home? We’re available to host virtual classes for groups of at least 5. Shipping charges may apply for barrels and ingredients.

Pricing

Pricing begins at $100 per person. Minimum number of participants for an in-person class is 15 and 5 participants for virtual classes. Maximum number of participants is 40. An extra fee may apply if your group is smaller.

Location

If you’re located in the National Capital Region let us know the location and we’ll come to you. If you don’t have a location for your event, we can help you secure one for an additional fee.

These are just a few of the drinks that you will learn how to make in our cocktail classes. Whether you prefer bourbon, gin, rye, vodka, or any other spirit, we will have a recipe that you're sure to love. It wouldn't be an Urban Barrel cocktail class without our signature barrel aged spirits, so the recipes that you learn will incorporate exquisitely barrel aged spirits that you can make on your own at home!
