Barrel-Aged Mandarin Negroni

  • 2 tea bags of Bengal Spice Herbal Tea
  • 500 ml Seagrams Gin
  • 250 ml Dolin Sweet Vermouth
  • 250 ml Campari

Mandarin Tea Infusion Instructions

  1. Place two tea bags of Bengal Spice Tea into a pitcher or mason jar with a lid.
  2. Pour 500 ml of gin over the tea bags.
  3. Place the lid of the pitcher or mason jar on tightly
  4. Allow the tea to steep with the gin for a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 24 hours. The longer you steep the tea the stronger the taste.
  5. After steeping; remove, squeeze and discard of the tea bags.

Barreling Instructions

  1. Add tea infused gin to a 1L barrel
  2. Add 250 ml Dolin Sweet Vermouth to your barrel
  3. Add 250 ml Campari to your barrel
  4. Insert bung into the barrel and give it a shake to mix gin, bourbon and liqueur.
  5. Allow to age 4 weeks
  6. Once you’ve aged for 4 weeks decant into the original bottle or a decanter

Cocktail Instructions

  1. Add ice to a mixing glass
  2. Pour your aged Mandarin Negroni into the mixing glass
  3. Stir for 15 seconds
  4. Add ice to a rocks glass
  5. Strain Mandarin Negroni over the rocks glass.
